How do you translate a political cartoon that was made years, or even a century ago to the present situation? First year students of Sint Joost Academy of the Arts, specialization Illustration and Animation, received a political cartoon from the Archive of Beeld en Geluid in Hilversum as an inspiration and starting point for a new cartoon that comments the current situation. Artists are: Aya Koetsenruijter, Ellis Eijgermans, Jan Douwe Krijger, Victor Start, Sin Wah Szeto, Morris Nanning and Stephan Wagteveld.
