Magdalena Kaszuba, born in 1988 in Bielawa, Poland, and raised in Germany, lives and works in Hamburg. Magdalena studied illustration with Anke Feuchtenberger at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts and has drawn comics for RomaTrial e. V., the Goethe Institute, and the IZS Wolfsburg, among others. For her debut novel, "Das leere Gefäss" (The Empty Vessel, Avant-Verlag, 2018), Magdalena received a sponsorship from the Hans Meid Foundation as part of a university competition in November 2017.
