Inkeri Aula

 Inkeri Aula (PhD) is an anthropologist who specializes in multi-site and multi-sensorial ethnography. She defended her doctoral dissertation at the University of Eastern Finland on Afro-Brazilian wording in translocal fight-dance-art capoeira in 2020. Her versatile research topics include environmental relationships, relational ontologies, utopias, cultural imaginaries, forest myths, weedy landscapes, sensorial atmospheres, Afro-Brazilian culture, and multi-sensory methodologies. Aula is  involved in art and research cooperation, including sound installations based on ethnographic research results and materials that are presented on the site gardenofbecomings.
