Studio Michel Marie is the pseudonym of Michelle de Gruijl (1988), a Dutch illustrator living in Amsterdam. As a visual designer and cultural anthropologist specialized in conflict resolution, it is her goal and ambition to share her knowledge of social issues through visual journalism. In doing so, she’s inspired by stories behind faces, faces, unfamiliar cultures, nature and philosophy. But she also loves a good colour combination.
