On June 24th, 2022, Roe vs. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court in the USA, leaving individual states to decide whether or not to allow abortion to remain legal. In Rachelle Meyer’s home state of Texas, a ban on abortion went into effect almost immediately. These events caused Rachelle to reflect on her own personal history with abortion, gender stereotypes, and women’s rights.
