On November 24, 2020 the Scottish Parliament unanimously passed a law that makes menstrual products free for Scottish citizens. However, this good news reminds us that around the world half of the population has to deal with the stigma of menstruation and issues such as period poverty. Period right is a human right, and we have to take action if we want to live in a world where the word “equality” has real meaning.
