Laura (1984) is a freelancer based in Amsterdam. She illustrates, does some graphic design work and facilitates workshops where she helps individuals and organisations write down their (professional) experiences. As a child and as an adult, Laura has had the privilege to live in different corners of the planet, sparking her curiosity about the variety of people on this earth and why we, as humans in different social contexts, do what we do. In her work she mainly focuses on international development, but enjoys delving into a wide range of topics. Getting the opportunity to do this is one of the things that attracts her to graphic journalism.
