Julia Kluge was born in 1989 in a small village between meadows and forests in Germany. From 2009 to 2014 she studied Communication Design and Illustration with Prof. Georg Barber/ATAK at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. In the summer of 2016 she successfully completed her master studies in the class for illustration with Prof. Henning Wagenbreth at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Today she works as a freelance illustrator in Leipzig. Her illustrations have been published in various magazines, books and exhibitions. While pursuing her own illustration and comic projects, Julia also teaches illustration and accompanies events with graphic recording.
