Gioria Marino is a freelance journalist based in Italy. She is the chief-editor of the international magazine on the circular economy “Materia Rinnovable/Renewable Matter” and writes for several magazines and newspapers including the Italian edition of The Huffington Post and the national newspaper La Stampa.
She has reported from various parts of the world and in recent years she has secured funding for various independent reporting projects financed through European journalistic grants, in particular in Haïti (sustainable reconstruction) and Nepal (climate change).
