Hilde Baele, who is one of the leading ladies of the Croque ton histoire contest, launched a new project in Burundi for International Women’s Day. Young Burundian artist were challenged to draw a portrait of one woman expressing six different moods: Happiness, sadness, anger, fear, disgust and surprise. Ten works were elected for an exhibition at the Institut Français in Bujumbura. Some international comic artists, from Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Cuba, Belgium and the Netherlands made a contribution too. The project was made possible with the financial aid of Free Press Unlimited.
