Aleksandar Zograf

Postcards from Ivanovo

About 20 km from the Serbian city of Pančevo, where the author Aleksandar Zograf lives, lies the tiny village of Ivanovo. It is the largest settlement of Roman Catholic Bulgarians, the Palćeni. The Palćeni is a small minority of less than 3000 people scattered in the Serbian Banat region.

This story was originally published in the Italian magazine Internazionale and it was shown at the Nova Festival in Pančevo in the exhibition: European Cultural Heritage Through Comics, in October 2018.
